OZ Superturismo GT

After ten years of victories on the racing track and off the road, after selling a million pieces, the OZ family masterpiece is rightfully celebrated by careful restyling according to the new fashion dictates of the racing world, a perfect synthesis of design and technology respecting its glorious position as founder of a family. The new wheel, baptised Superturismo GT, immediately proved to be more aggressive and refined in style and in detail, undoubtedly re-affirming its provenance from the racing world and its talent for exceptional performance. This new monobloc stands out from the rest with its deep softened central attachment, from which the 16 tapering spokes extend. The spoke ends extend as far as the wheel edge creating a beautiful optical effect that makes the wheel look larger. It comes in the prestigious Race Silver finish, developed in collaboration with BASF and applied in three successive coats to guarantee impregnability and resistance of the surface. The carbon fibre hub cover further emphasises its vocation as a sports wheel, with the OZ logo reproduced at the centre using Tuner Silver tampography and on the border in relief.

Developed to carry on the sports tradition of the famous founder of the family, Superturismo GT gives a gutsy look to highly responsive compacts such as the Peugeot 206, Golf IV, Ford Focus, Citroën Saxo and C2, Fiat Stilo and Alfa 147, and gives the right degree of aggressiveness to important saloon cars, such as the Audi A4, Passat and BMW Series 3. Its aristocratic sister, a veteran of the most important car racing championships, fits out the Bentley and Audi in the Le Mans 24 Hours, the Alfa Romeo in the European Touring Car Championships and Mercedes-Benz in the German Touring Car Championships, international competitions which in 2003 have added another three victories to the already lavish collection of OZ medals.

Submitted to strict quality controls throughout the manufacturing cycle and rigorous final tests, Superturismo GT meets the rigorous requirements imposed by the German TÜV and Japanese JWL VIA approval boards.
